This week, we bring you a special edition of the Chicago Publishes Podcast from the inaugural Chicago Book Expo. Also known as “Occupy Borders” or a pop-up bookstore, the  Expo featured over 40 local publishers, along with panel discussions, live music, and walking tours of Uptown. The event was produced by The Chicago Writers House. Organizer John Rich sat down with Mare Swallow to talk about how The Expo came about. Author and panelist Terra Brockman captured some thoughts from attendees and vendors during the Book Expo. To learn more about future events, please visit www.chicagowritershouse.org.
